Transgender Welfare Foundation– Skill Development in Delhi

Transgender Welfare Foundation is actively working to empower the residents of Delhi, through focused skill development programs aimed at improving livelihoods and promoting self-reliance. Recognizing the challenges faced by youth and women in underprivileged communities, the Trust offers a variety of vocational training and capacity-building courses tailored to local needs.

These programs include computer literacy, tailoring, beauty and wellness training, spoken English, and basic entrepreneurship skills. By providing hands-on training and practical knowledge, Transgender Welfare Foundationn helps participants become job-ready or start small businesses from home.

Special attention is given to women and school dropouts, encouraging them to gain financial independence and a sense of purpose. In addition to technical skills, the Trust also offers soft skills development, such as communication, time management, and interview preparation.

Training sessions are held at local community centers in Bawana, with experienced instructors and supportive staff guiding the participants every step of the way. Many graduates have gone on to secure jobs or launch home-based enterprises.
